Catch-up time

It's been a while...and Ur Mom has been busy! Not only have we all had our own personal and professional obligations, we've been busy as a band: gigging at local venues old and new (Paddy's, the Gypsy, Oberon's), rehearsing, picking up a new potential band member, and scoring a spot on Britt's Performance Garden stage! Yes, Ur Mom will play at Britt on the night that Joan Baez graces the stage with her talent and presence. Pretty awesome stuff!

And we are bringing a new member onboard, for Britt and hopefully beyond! Lisa Spencer, formerly with the band Blue Lightning, is going to play with us for the Britt show, and if all goes well, she'll play with us on future gigs. Her primary instrument will be bass, but she also play guitar and ukulele, and sings, too! So excited about having Lisa onboard!
